And he lived after the dismissal of Saeed, so he fell ill in (Maru) and felt death, so he said his famous poem, which is one of the deceitful poetry, and I counted it 58 verses, its beginning: I wish my poetry would you not sleep one night..
I found nothing but a weeping sword and spear, and Al-Baghdadi cited it in full, and mentioned what some people claimed, which is that the jinn placed the paper in which the poem was under his head after his death.
Abu Ali Al-Qali said: He was one of the most beautiful Arabs, and the most eloquent of them.
